LAS VEGAS (May 13, 2023) – The Rio Hotel & Casino Las Vegas is pleased to announce Patrick Miller has been appointed President and CEO. Miller has an impressive career spanning 28 years in the gaming and hospitality industry and a proven track record of success leading some of Las Vegas’ most popular Strip resorts.
Miller’s journey to Rio Hotel & Casino has been marked by significant achievements. He held key positions within MGM Resorts International, including Senior Vice President overseeing the Hospitality divisions at MGM Grand, New York-New York, Excalibur, Signature, and the Shadow Creek golf course. His most notable role was as the President and COO at Park MGM and NoMad Hotel, where he spearheaded the transformative half-billion-dollar renovation of Monte Carlo to Park MGM.

As the newly appointed President of Rio Hotel & Casino, Miller is set to play a pivotal role in its transformation. The property is currently in the midst of a multi-phase, $340 million renovation, a significant endeavor that promises to revitalize the resort. Miller’s vision for the property aligns with Rio’s commitment to providing exceptional experiences at a value for every guest and creating a culture where team members thrive.
Miller is a Las Vegas native and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He serves on several philanthropic and business boards in the Las Vegas Valley.
