January 2023
The Rio Hotel & Casino is excited to surpass 1,400 renovated rooms ahead of schedule.
Guests can now indulge in brand new Deluxe Double Queen Rooms, King Rooms and Premier One-Bedroom Suites, ranging from 580 to over 1,000 square feet.
About the new Rio Guest Rooms:
The Ipanema Tower guest room designs draw inspiration from contemporary and stylish apartments near Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro, referencing the collected furnishings, sense of handcraft, and timeless flamboyance of Brazilian design.
The art collection will focus on Brazilian artists and subjects and lend a more authentic aesthetic than the average hotel art.
Dreamscape Companies provided the creative direction for the rooms, with interior design and architecture by Marnell Architecture Planning & Design.
As a reminder, a renovated Rio pool will open to hotel guests in March 2024. New, cutting-edge LED technology for our two iconic marquees are nearing completion. The casino floor has been upgraded with hundreds of cutting-edge games and the convention center has undergone a refresh of all carpet, air walls and an awe-inspiring rotunda.
